Hanna BodenGap

At this time of year, just when I’ve packed up the holiday decorations and the house is sort of back to normal and we’re sort of settled back into the school and work routine, my inbox starts to get flooded with SALES.  I especially love to get bargains on clothes for the next year.  To stay organized, I keep a couple of bins in their closets labeled with the next size(s) up and it’s always such a treat to turn their wardrobes over and to also have saved some money.  Check out RetailMeNot, a coupon and promo code website, for additional opportunities to save on the sales listed below.  Sometimes they don’t let you combine savings or use coupons or promo codes on clearance, but it doesn’t hurt to try. Here is a list of my favorite kid’s sales and what I stock up on:

Hanna Andersson

If this is your first time visiting their website you’ll get an extra 10% off, and even better, 20% for referring a friend whether you are a first time user or repeat customer.  This Swedish clothing company in particular makes sturdy cotton and organic cotton PJ’s that your kids will wear for years and they will still look new washing after washing.  Especially if you follow my 10 step laundry program here.  Their quality is awesome all around and if you have a girl, I highly recommend their play dresses.  They too last forever and never fail to be a favorite.  I always buy on sale, sometimes snagging the play dresses for just $18.  Even if they cost a little bit more, you are guaranteed to get your money’s worth.  And if you don’t like it?  They have an unconditional money back guarantee.  At. Any. Time.  How fabulous is that?  Some other products that I highly recommend are the girls tights, socks, leggings.  All superb quality.

Browse their sale here.  Pay attention to their sizing.  It does take a little getting used to and I find that they run a little on the larger side because of the size range.  My daughter has worn some of their dresses for 3 years.  At the $18 steal price, that is just $6 per year.  Seriously, go find some bargains!

Boden is a British company that also makes high quality clothes for kids.  Click here to catch their up to 60% off sale.  I look to this company for unique, even special occasion, clothing for the kids and some everyday favorites if priced right.  They have free shipping on orders over $49.

For us ladies, their shoes are super cool, especially their flats.  If you’re looking for comfortable and unique, definitely give them a try.  The shoe sizes are European and they have a shoe size calculator featuring other popular brands and the size you typically take to help you pick the best Boden shoe size for you.

Gap Kids (and Old Navy)

Bargains, bargains, bargains!  The Gap family has great deals right now.  I visit their website almost daily for new markdowns and promo codes for extra savings on my order.  Today they are having up to 75% off of sale and 40% off your order.  I have always loved their jeans.  Even for the child who thinks jeans are “itchy” (like mine…) they make some styles that are consistently soft and are winners in my house.  You cannot go wrong with their PJ sets either – we get multiple years wear out of them by sizing up and they do not look ridiculous because they are meant to be close fitting anyway.  And finally, the overall quality and sizing is consistent and we’ll continue to be customers for years to come.  If the clothes stand up to my active little guy, then I consider that win. The ENTIRE store up to 75% off?  Click here for this amazing sale.  Gymboree goes up to a size 12 and I love that each season has a ton of mix and match styles for easy dressing.  My 6-year old has been choosing her own outfits for a few years, and the mix-and-match options are great reassurance that she somewhat matches when she goes to school?  I am all for letting her express herself, don’t get me wrong, so if she feels like wearing all plaid or all stripes because it “matches”, then she can go for it.

Carter’s (and Osh Kosh B’gosh)

Carter’s is having it’s twice a year clearance $3.99 and up.  Their partner, Osh Kosh B’gosh is also having a clearance sale and up to 40% off of new arrivals.  Both offer $6 flat rate shipping.  Great for its coordinating play clothes, great for its outfit and PJ sets, they also make dressing a breeze to up to a size 12.  Click here and see how many $3.99 deals you can snag!

Where are you favorite places to score bargains at this time of year?  And who gets the urge to make over their house with so many home sales going on right now?!  I know Target has some on trend and inexpensive bed & bath deals that I want to take advantage of.  Happy drooling, browsing, shopping!
